# Can you update the Student ID/Client External ID?

## Can I Update the Student ID/Patient ID?

#### Yes! Updating the student or patient ID is a quick and painless process that can be done through the portal!

1. Log into the portal at [www.agent.uportal360.com](http://www.agent.uportal360.com)
2. Search the student (customer number/complete name)Click view
3. In the portal, on the left hand side, click on the tab labeled `Contact Info`
4. Scroll down until you locate "Client External ID (Membership ID)"
5. Click on `Edit`
6. Update the ID with the NEW ID
7. Done!
