# What is the process for a consumer that is purchase eligible in terms of the steps they will take for their contract to be active? What about a servic

Dependent on your program setup, your consumers will either receive a welcome call or go through online verification.

1. Welcome Calls: Welcome calls are made to the consumer to verify their contact information and to assure they are aware of the terms of their contract.
   * If a consumer is unwilling to complete their welcome call, the contract will automatically go into servicing.
2. Online Verification: This process is entirely done by the consumer through uPortal360 to verify their information and the terms of their contract.
