# My consumer stated they have a high credit score, but they were not approved for very much. Why is that?

A consumer's creditworthiness is based on their credit score as well as a series of other factors. These factors include but are not limited to :

* Open or active bankruptcies
* Credit Counseling
* Past Due Accounts
* Collections

These factors contribute to the tier that the consumer falls into, and will determine if the consumer's account is serviced or purchased by UAS.
