# Merchant Control Panel

## Overview

The Merchant Control Panel (available to merchants with finance programs using the uPortal360 Consumer Application Experience) allows merchants to enter and manage charge details on in-flight credit applications. If financed amounts were not entered when sending the application link, the consumer's application will pause at the approval stage until the merchant completes charge entry.

## Accessing the Control Panel

Navigate to the Merchant Control Panel by locating the consumer in the To Do Queue or by using Quick Search, then click View on their account record.

*Tip: Follow the green buttons! Each green button on the Merchant Control Panel directs you to the next required action.*

## Entering Charge Details

Click the green button (labeled Continue, Edit Charge Amount, or Edit Additional Information depending on your program configuration) to access the charge entry screen. Enter the following:

* Cash Price — Total sale amount
* Down Payment — Amount collected from the consumer upfront (deducted from cash price)
* Amount Financed — Automatically calculated as Cash Price minus Down Payment
* Charge Description — Name of the product, service, or goods being financed
* Estimated Delivery Date — Required for Future Delivery programs
* Consumer Identity Attestation — Required for Merchant Discount programs

Click Update or Submit to save. The consumer's application will automatically refresh with the entered details.

## Updating Charge Amounts

Charge amounts can be updated at any time before the consumer signs their financing agreement. Return to the Merchant Control Panel and click the Edit Charge Amount button to modify pricing, descriptions, or delivery dates.

## Sending the Application Link to the Consumer

After entering charge details, use the Send Link button on the Merchant Control Panel to send or resend the application link to the consumer. The consumer application will direct them to exactly where they left off, including the updated pricing information.
