# Easiest Way to Submit a Contract

Submitting a contract is designed to be a convenient experience for both the client and consumer, but at first it may not seem natural and that's okay. It is recommended to become familiar with the process so that it becomes a natural process for you. Please review the reccomendatinos below and invest your time in becoming familiar with the system.

### Practice, Practice, Practice

Ever hear the saying that practice makes perfect? That is true for uPortal360. Start by watching the[ demo videos](https://home.uportal360.com/demo-videos/) to understand what the system is intended to do. Once you understand the purpose of our systems, take some time to practice submitting a contract using [testcase](/integrations-and-api/api-v2/testing) information to get hands-on practice submitting an application.

### Review Quick Start Guide

The [Quick Start Guide](/uportal-guide/merchant-uportal-navigation/user-setup-and-management/quick-start-guide) is the closest thing to a 'cheat sheet'. This is a condensed version of what you need to know of how to submit an application, helpful information.

### Make Sure Applicant is Ready to Apply

If your consumer is ready to apply, take some time to make sure they are ready and set expectations of information that will be gathered in the process. This will help to speed up the process and eliminate surprises.

* Are they familar with their basic information including their social security number?
* Will they need to secure a co-applicant?
* Do they have a freeze on their credit?
