Consumers may be eligible to change their due date one time during the life of their contract. This may be helpful in situations such as when a consumer’s pay date changes.

Requirments

  • Balance greater that $300
  • Loan Status/Sub Status = Active Current
  • First payment date has passed
  • Have a current statment
  • the next payment is not due on the day of the request
  • Due Date has not been changed before
  • Hardships have not been frozen

Example

Marisol is a client that has a current balance of $500.00 on her account. Her loan is currently active and has made multiple payments on her account. Her current statement is due on the 5th of the month but has recently acquired a new job that has a different pay day. She would like to change her pay date to the 15th of each month. She has not previously asked to change her due date. Marisol would qualify for the extension hardship based on the requirements.
